Terms of service

Last updated 5 September 2026. Using BuniFun means accepting these.

What BuniFun is#

A place to rate, debate and compete over people, culture and events. You join a session, you vote, the result is published, and it stays published.

You need an account to vote or post. You must be 16 or older and give a real email address you control.

What we promise you#

Three commitments, because a rating platform is worth nothing without them.

The server owns the verdict
you send a choice, never a number. A score cannot be bought — paid promotion affects who sees a session, never what it scored.
Nobody can edit a vote or a result
Not you, not another user, and no administrator at any level. There is no such feature and no such database permission.
A compromised session is invalidated in public
if we find manipulation, we mark the session invalid with a written reason and the original figures stay visible. We never quietly correct a number.

The method behind every published number is documented at /docs and read from the constants the software actually runs on.

What you may not do#

We rate real people. These are not negotiable.

Harass, threaten or incite violence
against anyone, whether or not they use the platform.
Post hate speech
targeting anyone for who they are.
Post sexual content involving minors, or any sexual content about a real person without consent
this results in an immediate permanent ban and, where required, a report to the authorities.
Impersonate someone
or claim a verification you do not have.
Manipulate a result
multiple accounts, scripted voting, bought votes, coordinated brigading.
Post someone's private information
addresses, phone numbers, documents.
Break the law
or use BuniFun to help someone else do it.

Rating real people#

The part that needs saying out loud.

Subjects of a rating are often real people who did not sign up to be rated. Criticism, disagreement and unflattering opinions are all fine — that is the point of the product. Abuse aimed at a person is not, and the line is not the score, it is the conduct.

If you are the subject of a session and something crosses that line, write to support@bunifun.online and we will look at it.

What you post stays yours#

You keep ownership of everything you write and upload. You give us the permission needed to run the service — to store it, show it to others, and include it in share cards and previews. That permission ends when you delete the content, except where it has already been included in a published result.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to.

Suspension and removal#

We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we tell you what happened and why. Serious harms — sexual content involving minors, credible threats — mean an immediate permanent ban with no warning.

To appeal, email support@bunifun.online from the address on the account.

What we do not promise#

BuniFun is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, and we are not liable for what other users post or for indirect losses arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Opinions expressed in a session are those of the people who voted and wrote them, not ours. A published result is a record of what people chose — not a statement of fact about the subject.

Closing your account#

You can stop using BuniFun at any time and ask us to delete your account — see Privacy. Published results survive with your identity removed, because a result that can be edited afterwards is not a result.

Changes and law#

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the product before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
